I Optik AR / ARK 910 Auto Refractometer is a computer-controlled machine used during an eye examination to provide an objective measurement of a person’s refractive error and prescription for glasses or contact lenses. This is achieved by measuring how light is changed as it enters a person’s eye.
The ARK-910 Auto Refractometer is a smart eye-measuring tool that uses 3D technology to focus and measure your eye automatically. It comes with a 7-inch screen you can touch to control it, an adjustable chin rest to fit different people, and a built-in printer.
You can measure your eyes by simply tapping the screen, no joystick is needed, and it’s very quick and accurate, giving results in 10 seconds. It also has special features for looking at the back of your eye and measuring the eye’s curvature on the sides.
The Auto Refractometer automatically determines the correction needed to place your “focus point” on top of the retina, the light-sensitive area at the back of the eye responsible for correctly processing images. The measurement taken by an Auto Refractometer can be translated into a prescription for eyeglasses.
